... COLLEGE OF ART ALUMNI.
McArthurGlen, in partnership with the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London, has launched its first Spirit of Fashion pop-up store. It launched in London on 7th - 18th September, Manchester on 30th September – 6th October and wil
The striking, monochrome pop-up brings to life a capsule collection of the 'reinvented classics’, including a womenswear line inspired by the simplicity of the classic school uniform, by womenswear designer Rachael Barrett and the innovative take on the classic white shirt by menswear designers Carolyn Massey and Matthew Miller.
McArthurGlen, together with the RCA, contemporary menswear ‘icon’, Peter Sidell, and acclaimed fashion designer Betty Jackson, selected the trio to receive the inaugural Spirit of Fashion Award in the summer of 2010.
The Award provides twelve months full PR services, together with the opportunity to create a limited-edition collection, under the Spirit of Fashion label.
McArthurGlen, developed the awards as a means to help young designers, in the early stages of their careers, establish their own labels and move their business forward.
The Spirit of Fashion Glasgow pop-up is the final of 3 shops and will open 14th October – 20th October. This will be last chance to get your hands on this limited collection.
