Day One
Morning
Start the day off with some retail therapy at Livingston Designer Outlet where you will find over 90 stores, designer and high street brands all with up to 60% off rrp everyday.
Lunch
After some retail therapy why not relax and at one of the restaurants including Pizza Express or Ashoka Shak? Or for a lighter bite pop along to Starbucks, Caffe Nero or enjoy a baked potato or fish & chips from the food court.
Afternoon
Within the Designer Outlet you can also book in for a bit of beauty therapy at Bliss Beauty, or take in the latest release at the fabulous VUE cinema. In the afternoon, visit an innovative family-friendly museum, the Almond Valley Heritage Trust exists to make local heritage more interesting and accessible to all. Evening

Day Two
Morning
Start the day with a trip along the peaceful waterways at the Linlithgow Canal Centre – open from Easter to October. (Tel. 01506 671 215 or www.lucs.org.uk) Browse around the museum and enjoy a cup of tea in the cosy tearoom.
Lunch
Spend the afternoon exploring Linlithgow Palace, once one of the principal royal residences in northern Europe and birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots and her father, James V of Scotland. Afternoon
